Win A Meal for Two at Bar 166 & Bistro in Leeds
 Bar 166 & Bistro opened in 2004, as a first time project for Matthew Jones, answering the prayers of Horsforth residents in dire need of an upmarket, multi-purpose venue to eat and drink in.
The quarter of a million pound investment transformed the old run down Stuarts Wine Bar into an award winning, upmarket, multi purpose venue serving quality food and drink. The design allows the bar to be fully separated in noise and entrance, but yet still retains a buzz that seeps through into the restaurant.
 The food is fantastic in its simplicity, offering luscious British meals, all at very affordable prices. All the food they serve is fresh and locally produced. Lunchtimes are particularly popular with a full range menu consisting of sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers and some more hearty fillers. The evening bistro menu is priced at £5.50 for starters and main courses start at £11, a bargain considering the quality and freshness.
The bar has plenty of seats for the more casual eater who embraces a slightly lively atmosphere. Weekend nights are very busy in the bar serving high quality wine and cocktails. Also on offer are hand pulled bitters and a superb selection of spirits and liqueurs from around the world. Regular weekend DJ’s playing funk and soul brings an electric atmosphere to the bar.
Bar 166 & Bistro can cater for a maximum of 30 people seated or 50 standing, in our upstairs function room.There is no minimum number of people required, therefore the most intimate of private meals can be catered for.
