Win a set of stylish Cornishware coloured mugs
T.G Green’s famous blue and white Cornishware pottery range has gone multi-coloured. The iconic kitchenware brand has created the perfect gift with two classic mug sets; one ‘for the girls’ in soft ice-cream shades, and the other in rich, bold russet red, teal green and jet black - ‘for the boys’ and we have a set of each to give away to one lucky reader.
T.G.Green & Co. first produced Cornishware in the 1920s. The distinctive blue and white banded pottery owes its name to an employee who said it reminded them of the blue sky and white-crested waves of Cornwall. Then, despite continuing popularity, the factory was forced into administration in 2007. Now the brand has been revived by entrepreneur Charles Rickards, and branding consultant Perry Haydn Taylor (along with his wife Vik, a veteran Cornishware collector) to help restore it to its former glory.
Each set of four mugs comes in a beautiful Cornishware box and can be bought from the Company’s new online gift service at www.tggreen.co.uk. Prices are £40.00 per set, with a total prize value of £80.00. The gift service is packed full of other great Cornishware present ideas with the entire range of the distinctive blue and white kitchenware, from teapots to egg cups and cake stands to pudding bowls.
