A Hearty Breakfast
Granola is the new muesli… except it’s loads more healthy. Just by looking at the ingredients on the back of a pack of Lovedean Larder breakfast No.1 granola you know that you can’t be doing your body much harm.
Jumbo oats, pumpkin, sunflower, hemp seeds, linseeds, add to the mix hazelnuts, brazils and nicely sized chunks of pecan, mix with sunflower, hemp, safflower and pumpkin oils and sweeten with honey and there you have it. Not a nasty in sight. There is also one very important bonus - it tastes good! This is a healthy breakfast regime that is actually a joy sticking to.
The cereal’s creator, Lucy O’Donnell has made it her mission to provide healthy foods that are a joy to eat. On a family skiing holiday last year she came across a homemade granola breakfast cereal.
“It was absolutely delicious and didn’t have any additives or preservatives in it. So I decided to create my own for my family. My family loved it and so did all our friends and everybody started to ask me to make it for them. It was only then, I suspected that nothing like this actually existed on the market. So I trawled all the good food markets and health shops to find something comparable and I couldn’t find anything so I decided to go for it”
And Lovedean Larder breakfast No.1 was born!
