Chefs Confirmed For Restaurants Against Hunger 'The Better Foodie' Charity Gastro-QuizTickets are now on sale for this entertaining evening, Wednesday 27 September, in Waterstone's Piccadilly new Lecture Room. Revealing foodie fantasies and gastro-secrets include Mark Hix, Chef Director of Caprice Holdings Ltd / The Ivy; Raymond Blanc, Chef Patron of Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons; Shaun Hill, well known for putting Ludlow on the gourmet map; Antony Worrall Thompson; BBC2 Masterchef winner, Thomasina Miers; and Sophie Conran, designer and pie mistress.

Based on the new book, How to be a Better Foodie (Quadrille Publishing, September 2006) this cheeky quiz will be a feast of entertainment for all to enjoy, and will raise funds for Restaurants Against Hunger month of October. With its author Sudi Pigott as mistress of ceremonies, Nigel Barden ensuring fair play, and teams of hardcore gastronauts and chefs, the event will tease your tastebuds and test your gastro-credentials. Whether you are truly epicurious and never make do with anything less than 'prada for your larder', or just want to sit back and wonder at the foodies around you, the event is set to be a culinary classic on the charity's menu.
