Still Creating... Still Winning... Still Parkers

Still Creating... Still Winning... Still ParkersBased in Dorset, Parkers Menu has won nine awards at the Taste of the West Food & Drink Awards 2006 – four Golds, three Silvers and two Bronze. Parkers achieved prizes for both sweet and savoury dishes in the annual competition, which recognises excellence in taste, aroma, appearance and packaging design.

Jane Parker, a fourth generation Parker in the company, comments: “Winning nine awards is an honour, and winning them in an area where there are so many quality food producers is especially rewarding. Alongside Parkers Catering, Parkers Menu will continue to use local, seasonal food in the same way that four generations of Parkers have – this is our pedigree and we are immensely proud of it.”

Just over two years old, Parkers Menu draws its inspiration and expertise from Parkers Catering – a company set up over 100 years ago by Jane’s Great Great Grandfather. The two food businesses run successfully alongside each other and recipes which are popular with guests at catered events are often added to the Parkers Menu range.

Jane continues; “I began Parkers Menu so customers could enjoy the quality of Parkers Catering food in their own homes. The same philosophies will always apply, whatever we create, and however we serve it – delicious food, in proper sized portions, prepared by hand in small batches by people who are passionate about what they do.”
