Fruitstock ‘06 - innocent’s Free Festival For Nice People
In just a few weeks Innocent Drinks will be putting on a free festival in the park. Yes Fruitstock is back for the fourth year running and it looks set to be bigger, better and fruitier than ever!
There is an excellent music line up, amongst others: Nouvelle Vague, AIM, Arrested Development and Norman Jay. Penguin books are creating a lovely library where you can while away the afternoon reading in a hammock. There will be open-air yoga, knitting circles, poetry slamming and kids entertainment in all shapes and sizes. Here’s what the little ones can get up to:
- Practise their roly-poly’s at circus skills workshops
- Listen to their favourite stories, read to them Jackanory- style, in the Puffin Books corner
- Crush their own fruit on an innocent Blendavenda
- Make arts and crafts with the Early Learning Centre
- Bounce on a big bouncy castle,
- Go round the carousel and whizz down a giant Ecover slide
- Enter Honda’s Design a Hybrid Car competition
- Eat delicious food prepared by kids’ food specialists, Little Dish and Plum Baby
- And drink some yummy smoothies for kids
On top of all of this there will be a competition run by Honda to design one of their new hybrids. And the winner gets the car that they designed for a month! All programmes will be printed on 100% recycled paper, all cutlery, cups and plates will be made from recycled materials, there'll be more recycling points than ever before and lots of bike racks. All onsite fuel will be a bio-diesel blend, including the Sea Cow fish and chips van and Innocent will be offsetting carbon dioxide omissions by planting trees. They are hoping to raise loads of money for their chosen charity, WellChild.
Fruitstock ‘06 is on 5th- 6th August, Gloucester Green, Regent’s Park, London
