F-Word Venue Reopens To Public
While the second series of Gordon Ramsay’s F Word continues to be a hit on Channel 4 despite the World Cup fever, London diners can now have first hand experience of the series setting, Deep restaurant and bar in Imperial Wharf, Chelsea. The renowned seafood restaurant has been closed to the public for the past three months while the filming took place and it finally reopened on 30th June.
Situated on a riverside location, a stone’s throw from Chelsea Harbour, Deep has spectacular views of the river and two terraces from which to enjoy them – perfect for the summer months. It is this setting that so impressed the producers of the F Word that they decided to use Deep as the main location.
Deep’s owners, husband and wife team Christian and Kerstin Sandefeldt have welcomed the three-month break but are now eager to get back to the restaurant. Chef Christian has developed a number of stunning new dishes for the a la carte menu, including Smoked tomato soup with Devon crab, Escalope of salmon with seafood ravioli and sauce hollandaise, Steamed Brill with prawns, dill and horseradish in warm butter and Assiette of Tuna: tartare with chilli and Arctic caviar, Grilled and smoked tuna loin with lemon oil and Tuna sashimi salad.
The bar at Deep has its own stunning riverside terrace with white leather seating and low tables, perfect for whiling away lazy summer evenings. An extensive and innovative cocktail list as well as a seafood-based bar snacks menu provide additional temptations to visit this gem of a restaurant.
Gordon Ramsay’s F Word, produced by Optomen Television is a topical weekly magazine show that made its debut on Channel 4 last October and won viewers for its fresh, innovative and sometimes controversial approach to all things foodie.
