Is It A Bird…Flying Fish Feasts, an award winning, gourmet fishcake producer based in Devon, has recently extended its handmade range to include its latest creation, the  Seaside Truffle. Inspired by David Meadows, owner of Flying Fish Feasts, the new fishcake is made from fresh scallops and tender white crab meat from local Devon waters, crayfish and black truffle.

David Meadows comments, "We always use as much local fish in our fishcakes as possible and the Seaside Truffle, with its rich ingredients, is inspired by the abundance of shellfish we have off our coastline. The dived scallops and potted crab are landed by local fishermen and are often out of the water and in our fishcakes within 24 hours. The Seaside Truffle is a real delicacy and a far cry from the old fashioned view some people have of fishcakes."

Flying Fish Feasts has a choice of over 16 different varieties of fishcakes and bespoke assortments can be selected - from  Sea Bass with Ginger or Smoked Haddock and Horseradish, to Fiery and Fancy Fishcakes. Mini and canapé sizes are also available which are perfect as starters or as bite-sized appetisers.
