Tenth Restaurant Plays Host To Peter Gordon

Tenth Restaurant Plays Host To Peter GordonThe Tenth Restaurant at Kensington’s five star Royal Garden Hotel is hosting the second in a series of Gourmet Evenings, welcoming Peter Gordon from The Providores on Thursday 17 November.

Peter Gordon will be joining The Tenth’s Head Chef Norman Farquharson to create a world class fusion menu exclusively for the evening.  Diners at The Tenth will be able to enjoy six courses of the most inspired fusion dishes, whilst soaking up the panoramic views over Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park afforded by the restaurant’s unique rooftop location.

The six course tasting menu will include dishes such as a salad of asparagus and artichoke with quail tea-egg and moromi miso mirin dressing, roast New Zealand venison on kumara miso mash and garlic chard with quince alioli and lotus crisps and Scharffenberger chocolate amaretti delice with alphonso mango curd, vanilla roast pineapple and sesame wafer. Each course will be accompanied by a different wine chosen to complement the dish and supplied from a variety of New Zealand wine producers.

After growing up in New Zealand, Peter’s cooking was strongly influenced by his travels through South East Asia, India and Nepal, which is reflected throughout his cooking. Peter first came to fame in the UK with the award winning Sugar Club and is now known for the highly commended The Providores in Marylebone Village.  He is also an acclaimed writer of cookery books including his latest book ‘Salads’ which has been recently serialised in the Sunday Times Style Magazine.

The evening will be co-hosted by Peter Gordon and The Tenth’s Restaurant Manager, Philip Ostenton who will ensure that every guest has the most unique and memorable time.

Fully inclusive tickets for the Peter Gordon Gourmet Evening are £85.00 which includes a champagne reception, the six-course tasting menu and accompanying wines with each course.
