Slug And Lettuce Get In The Pink For Breast Cancer Care

Slug And Lettuce Get In The Pink For Breast Cancer CareSlug and Lettuce Bars and Restaurants are making a pink addition to their menu for the month of October in a bid to raise money for Breast Cancer Care, the UK’s leading provider of breast cancer information and support. A delicious pink crème brulee will be added to the menu - the perfect excuse to indulge, reach for the dessert menu and help raise some valuable funds for the charity!

The home made crème brulee, priced £3.95, is a mouth-watering creamy creation made with fresh strawberries topped with a caramelised sugar crust – the perfect way to end a delicious meal with your friends, with half the profits going straight to Breast Cancer Care (registered charity no 1017658).

Slug and Lettuce marketing manager, Nicola Acreman comments: “Creating something pink for the menu was the perfect vehicle for us to raise as much money as possible whilst making it relatively easy for customers to do their bit. What better way to raise money for Breast Cancer Care than tucking into a delicious dessert?”

Teams of Slug and Lettuce bar staff are also getting In the Pink and planning plenty of fundraising events around the country, from Pink Party nights to fashion show fundraisers. Breast Cancer Care pin badges will also be available for a minimum £1 donation in all of the bars. Doing your bit for charity has never been this easy, so get down to your local Slug and Lettuce, tuck into something sweet and get In the Pink this October.
