To ensure the short films authenticity, Peroni obtained the backing of Fellini academics. The original Paparazzo (Walter Santesso) and Anita Ekberg shared their excitement for the project and were on-hand at the filming of the famous Trevi Fountain scene, a feat that hasn’t been undertaken since Fellini filmed there in 1959.

For those unable to catch a glimpse of the short five minute film screened by Cinema Peroni, Peroni Nastro Azzurro’s homage to La Dolce Vita will be showcasing at select cinemas nationwide from 7th April 2006 for a twelve-week period.
