15-Minute Feasts: Great-Tasting Food in No Time

15-Minute Feasts: Great-Tasting Food in No TimeThis is a useful and unusual book, packed with lots of interesting recipes that made me think 'why haven't I thought of that'. It's essentially modern food (by that I DO mean Asian/Australian and Middle-Eastern influenced dishes) and based on the premise that you will have a pretty well-stocked kitchen (e.g polenta, smoked paprika, mirin, Asian herbs),but want to cook something quick and different from your usual repetoire.

The book is suited to someone with ecletic and adventurous tastes, but the recipes are very straightforward and quick. My successes so far include Aromatic Middle-Eastern Pilaf, Sage & Goat's Cheese Frittata and a crumble with grated marzipan - good modern food with a twist - all taking around 15 minutes as promised.
